If you read my last post, you know that one of my goals this year was to learn to crochet. Well, I finally sat down with some yarn, hooks, and my iPad and looked up some web tutorials and simple patterns to play around with. I gotta say, I love it! It is addicting. I've learned the basic stitches so far—single, half, double, and triple crochet—and have managed to create a small granny square and a simple doily. I even made some little flowers, which I adore. They are simple, quick, and a great way to use up some leftover yarn. I'm going to have to find a project where I can incorporate a bunch of little flowers made with some of the little scraps I have hanging around. Ooh, the possibilities.
